The Farmyard Five?

Today was an interesting day because while we were getting together for our lunch and learn Jasmine came over to us and asked if she could join us and I looked at Carmel and Carmel nodded and I looked at Petunia and Petunia nodded and I looked at Barry who was licking the fur near his bottom and his head was moving up and down as he did so and I took this as a unanimous decision and I invited Jasmine to sit with us.

We did not discuss many new things because we spent most of the time updating Jasmine on our conversations and she, too, was surprised that the humans eat so many of us and she asked about horses and I told her from my previous learnings that in some parts of the world humans did eat horses but not in the part of the world we are in so she should be safe and just check with me if she wanted to go traveling to other places. lol

But what made today interesting was that after our lunch and learn was finished Jasmine asked me if she could walk with me back to my shack and I said yes and oh boy did the chickens have a field day with that information but I paid them very little attention.

Jasmine let me know that Barry had been asking some of the animals if they thought he was a good leader and if they would like to hear him make a speech and she was not sure what to do with that information but she told him yes that she would like to hear him make a speech but then today when she also learned that I was going to be making a speech and it seemed like I did not know about Barry's speech she thought she should tell me about that previous conversation.
